Applications for the founding MWBN Manchester Chapter Membership are open! Here’s exactly how to apply, why women are joining, and who this community is really for.
Until now, most of what people know about MWBN membership has come from being in the room: our taster sessions, our WhatsApp community, and conversations after events ended. That’s exactly how a community should grow at first. But today, we’re saying it properly and publicly: applications for the founding MWBN Manchester Membership are open, and our first meeting as a membership takes place on 11th September 2026.

Why We’re Opening Applications Now
Over the past six months, our monthly taster sessions have sold out, one after another. Women came, made real connections, had real conversations, and kept asking the same question afterwards: “When does this become something I can actually commit to?”
September is the answer. The Manchester Membership Chapter is the next, more structured version of everything you’ve experienced at our taster events, and applications are how you become part of it from the very beginning.
How to Apply
The process is simple, and it’s designed to protect the quality of the room rather than to slow you down:
Submit your application through the membership page — it takes a few minutes and is an expression of interest, not an automatic place.
We review every application personally. This isn’t an algorithm; it’s us, reading and considering each woman who applies.
If accepted, a £50 deposit secures your spot, with the remaining balance and rolling monthly payments beginning in August 2026.
You join us for our first in-person meeting on 11th September 2026, as a founding member of the Manchester chapter.
There’s no closing date on applications but the earlier you apply, the more time there is for review, acceptance, and onboarding before that first meeting. If being there from day one matters to you, now is the moment to start!
Why Women Are Applying
The reasons vary woman to woman, but a few come up again and again: wanting to stop building a business alone, wanting accountability that goes beyond good intentions, wanting referrals that come from genuine relationships rather than cold pitches, and wanting to be visible in a room that actually celebrates their work. Underneath all of it is something simpler- wanting to belong somewhere without having to explain or edit themselves first.
Who This Is For
MWBN membership is for Muslim women in business at any stage whether that’s a long-established business or an idea you’re only just building the courage to start. It’s for women who want consistency, not just occasional inspiration, and who are ready to show up for a community in the same way they want that community to show up for them.
It’s also worth being honest about who it isn’t for: if you’re looking for a passive group to lurk in, or a quick sales channel rather than genuine relationships, this likely isn’t the right fit, and that’s exactly why the application process exists.

Applications stay open for as long as places remain available, but our one-seat-per-profession model means some seats are more limited than others by nature, regardless of timing. If you’ve been waiting for the “real” moment to apply rather than just hearing about MWBN secondhand, this is it!
