What to expect at your first membership meeting

(and How to Still Apply in Time)

Curious what MWBN’s first membership meeting will involve? Here’s what to expect, and how you can still apply in time to be part of it.

Our founding Manchester Membership Chapter holds its very first meeting on 11th September 2026. If you’ve been considering applying but aren’t sure what that first meeting will actually involve, here’s exactly what to expect.

What the Day Will Look Like

The first meeting brings together everyone accepted into the founding cohort for real connection, structured accountability, and an introduction to how membership will run across the year ahead, including the accountability pods, member spotlights, and the private community members will have access to between meetings.

Who You’ll Be Meeting

Every woman in the room will have gone through the same application process, reviewed personally rather than auto-approved, and the one-seat-per-profession model means you won’t be sitting across from a direct competitor - you’ll be sitting across from a future collaborator.

How to Still Apply in Time

There’s no fixed closing date on applications, but timing still matters practically. After acceptance, a £50 deposit secures your spot, and the remaining balance begins as rolling monthly payments from August 2026. The sooner you apply, the more comfortably that process completes before 11th September — and the more settled you’ll feel walking into that first meeting as a founding member, rather than catching up afterwards.

Why It’s Worth Being There From Day One

Every community has a “before” and “after” — before it was established, and after. The women in the room on 11th September are the ones who said yes before there was any proof this would work, simply because they believed it was worth building. That’s a different kind of membership than joining later, once everything is already running.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to apply, this is it. Apply to join the Manchester Membership — we’d love to have you in the room on 11th September.
